Wearing a mask is optional when visiting our office. The doctors and staff at Highpoint Family Vision highly prioritize the health and safety of our patients. All equipment is thoroughly sanitized between each patient to keep you as safe as possible.
COMMUNITY SERVICE
Drs. Kinsey and Dustin Honeyman love to give back to their community in multiple ways. They are both members of the Lions Club of Shawnee and help perform school vision screenings in the greater Kansas City area. Kinsey and Dustin perform eye exams for the athletes at the Special Olympics through the Opening Eyes Program on an annual basis. Kinsey was also an active member of the Junior League of Kansas City from 2010-2014.
Kinsey joined the Rotary Club of Shawnee in 2014 and was honored to receive the Rotarian of the Year award her first year in the organization due to her involvement and organizing the first annual Taste of Shawnee event. This is the first time in club history a new member has received this award.

Both Kinsey and Dustin have been active with Student Volunteers in Optometric Services to Humanity. As a couple Kinsey and Dustin have helped the underserved communities of the Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Belize, Mexico, and Belarus.
Dr. Kinsey was honored to receive the Rotarian of the Year by the Shawnee Rotary Club in 2015.

Dr. Kinsey was honored to receive the Rotarian of the Year by the Shawnee Rotary Club in 2015.
