Dustin Honeyman, OD
Dr. Dustin Honeyman is originally from Lawrence, Kansas. He attended the University of Kansas and graduated with a degree in Human Biology in 2005. He then studied at Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee, where he earned his Doctorate of Optometry in 2010.
Dr. Honeyman’s clinical interests are primary care and pediatric optometry. His pediatric expertise was strengthened with an externship at Children’s Mercy Hospital Ophthalmology Department during his clinical rotations. Additionally, he is certified in the treatment and management of ocular disease. Dr. Honeyman is also active in SVOSH (Student Volunteers in Optometric Services to Humanity). As a couple Kinsey and Dustin have helped the under served communities of Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Belize, Mexico, and Belarus.
In his free time he enjoys playing competitive volleyball, including; indoor, grass, sand, and co-ed. He also enjoys traveling and scuba diving. But above all else, he loves to spend time with his daughter Adley and son Callan.
Kinsey Honeyman, OD
Dr. Kinsey Honeyman is originally from Northern Illinois. She attended the University of Illinois and graduated as a James Scholar with a Bachelor of Science in Molecular and Cellular Biology in 2006. She then studied at Southern College of Optometry and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Doctorate of Optometry in 2010.
Dr. Honeyman's clinical interests are primary care and pediatric optometry. Additionally, she is certified in the treatment and management of ocular disease. Dr. Honeyman is a member of the American Optometric Association, Kansas Optometric Association, and the Optometric Society of Greater Kansas City. She has also been an active with VOSH International (Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity) providing underprivileged communities with free eyecare through medical mission trips around the world.
Her favorite things in the world are her kids, Adley and Callan. She enjoys volunteering in the community as a member of the Shawnee Rotary Club and Shawnee Lions Club. She also loves traveling and scuba diving.

Cristi, Optometric Technician
With over 10 years of experience from the fashion and optical industries, Cristi brings an eye for style and a passion for helping others to Highpoint Family Vision. She will make sure you look and feel amazing in your new glasses.
Cristi grew up in Missouri and has a Bachelor of Science in Fashion Merchandising and Marketing from Missouri State University. She has been married to her husband Ryan for over 20 years and they have two sons, Grant and Griffin.
Cristi enjoys reading, traveling, and watching sports. Her favorite teams are the Missouri Tigers (we forgive her for this), Missouri State Bears, and the Kansas City Chiefs and Royals.
Jori, Optometric Technician
Jori is likely the first person you will speak with when you call and the first smiling face you see as your enter our office. She is knowledgeable about eye care as well as insurance and can answer any questions you may have. She will make your visit to our practice a pleasure.
Jori grew up in Western Kansas and graduated from the University of Kansas in 2012 with a Bachelors of Liberal Arts and Science. Since graduating she has worked in various customer service industries and has perfected the art of customer service.
After being a resident of Lawrence for over 10 years, she recently purchased a house in Mclouth, Kansas, with her fiancé, Brady.
Jori loves cooking, spend time outdoors, hiking, gardening, and cheering on the Chiefs. Above all else, she enjoys time with her friends and family.
Aryanna, Optometric Technician
Aryanna grew up in Overland Park Kansas and currently attends Johnson County Community College where she studies early childhood education. Her dream is to one day teach at the elementary school level.
Aryanna excels at finding the perfect frame to fit any patient's style as well as knowing the best lenses for your visual demands. With her attention to detail she is sure to find you your new favorite pair of glasses.
In her free time you can find Aryanna nose deep in a good book. She also enjoys traveling with her fiance and spending time with their 2 cats.
Duy, Optometric Technician /
Duy, pronounced "Dewey", was born in Vietnam and moved with her parents to Kansas City, Missouri in 2005. She is fluent in both English and Vietnamese.
Duy graduated valedictorian from Lincoln College Preparatory Academy. She excelled on the varsity tennis team and was an MVP player. She also played the flute in the symphonic band.
Duy now studies pre-optometry at UMKC and hopes of following the Dr. Honeymans’ footsteps!
Stephen, Optician / Optometric Technician
Stephen has worked in the optical industry for almost a decade, developing experience as an optician both through customer service and through the knowledge he received working in an optical lab. He excels at helping people see their best by finding the ideal optical solution for each individual need.
Stephen hails from Washington State and enjoys rock climbing, traveling, and all things outdoors. When not providing excellent eye care services, he can usually be found volunteering and climbing at his local rock climbing gym, or enjoying some good jazz music.
Mikayla, Optometric Technician
Mikayla Malter moved to Kansas City in August with her husband Tyler after living in Wichita for 12 years. They moved here right after getting married in May! Along with all of those new changes in her life this is also her first steps into the optical profession.
When she is not at work she spends most of her time playing video games, watching movies, and playing with all four of her fur babies! Mikayla is always looking forward to meeting new people and helping people as much as possible.
